Prayers and Speaking the Truth

Praying has always been a matter of the heart for me. When someone asks for prayers, I would always go deep into my soul and ask God to express through me the needs of the individual I desired to pray for. But the truth is there is a particular science about prayer, especially if you look at “The Lord’s Prayer.” Jesus was teaching us how to pray as he spoke to the Father with the perfect science of prayer. In so doing, He left us the master template for a perfect outcome.

The template is in parenthesis and the prayer (used to express healing for someone in emotional pain) is in quotes.

 1. (Our Father, who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name—reaching God by calling out his eternal name.)

PRAYER FOR A PARTICULAR PERSON: “I'm knowing for this person that God is all there is!”

2. (Expressing that God is everywhere present.)

“There is only one UNIVERSE - One Song - that song is eternal unconditional Love.”

3. (Expressing you are one with the energy that is God.)

“I am one with that love—One with God itself —And I know this same truth for this person/ That this person is God's Love expressing wholly and holy in, through and as this person's life. “

4. (Identifying the issue, but finding a positive way to see it as God’s purpose and will.)

“So, I know this experience of heartache—and heartbreak is indeed this person's heart breaking. It is breaking wide open to reveal even MORE LOVE, MORE TRUST AND MORE WHOLENESS.”

5. (You must know for that person that healing is God’s way and you are seeing it unfold in your own mind as you pray.)

“In through the recognition, embracing and ultimately releasing of this ephemeral experience of pain—there is healing. There is light.  There is peace. There is a new depth and knowingness of the truth of the beauty of love, the sacredness of loss and the blessing of letting go.”

6. (Create intention for the person.)

“So I bless this person for the strength expressing in allowing vulnerability, forgiveness and compassion to be the vehicles of his healing. I bless this time, this experience and the more of life that is revealing itself even now.”

7. (Have faith and believe your prayer is answered because you spoke it and God is listening.)

“I know ALL things are working together to reveal this person's greatest and highest good—no matter what it feels like, or looks like. GRACE IS IN ACTION IN THIS PERSON'S LIFE RIGHT NOW. “

8. (Ultimately, thank God for the right and perfect answer to your prayer.)

“And I am so grateful for this knowingness, for this prayer, for this truth. I release this word to God, which has already blessed it and named it holy and good. And I sweetly affirm, and say, ‘So IT IS.’ AMEN!”

This prayer and its template may help you create faithful, solace and effective prayer for someone you love and want to stand firmly in the gap for and with.
