Angels Slumming It!

Isaac Newton said, “If I have seen further than others, it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.” Could some of these giants or even you be angels dressed in human clothing? I often wonder.

After watching the movie Men in Black, my mind was set to caution as I looked at each individual in my life, for the next month, wondering if what I saw in the flesh was a mask or reality. Who knows, really?

Helen Keller said: “life is either an adventure or nothing at all.” She could say this with utmost authenticity, as her life was all about traveling in the dark, waiting for angels to lead her on her way to education and ultimately her speaker’s series, which inspired millions. I wonder how many angels are operating in my life or your life now, just to get us on our path and keep us there.

I’m a very tough human being with a strong push toward the future. But I can be easily manipulated by fear or abandonment. I know those are my buttons. So, I have to be sure that when I set out on a path that I look for times that these two triggers don’t cloud my vision. Often, though, angels help me when I get lost.

The idea of Angels walking among us on earth has been around since biblical times. In the Hebrew bible and in the Christian bible we see instances all through the scriptures where angels (the word angelos in the Greek means messengers) intervene and help humans along the path with divine messages and even miracles like parting a sea or changing a staff into a snake.

How often have you felt that some being from the ethers swept a car out of your way or kept you from tripping? I know almost every time I travel on the road in Florida, I feel as if ten angels must work very hard just to get me from point A to point B.

The title of this Discovery suggests that when Angels come to earth or when We come to earth that we are slumming it. The metaphor is to say that the earth is a place where angels either help or learn or do nothing, which is a total waste of God’s divine energy. When you open your heart to let spirit dwelling within you and heaven resides inside your heart, you become a conduit of God and God energy; albeit, a messenger. So, by definition, you, too, could be an angel here on earth.

I believe every moment of every day you have a choice of whether or not you want to be an angel or acquiesce to your Ego and simply live as a human slumming it, waiting for your next meal, your next pay check, and your next job. I don’t want to simply be human—ever. I want to know that I am a Spirit temporarily dwelling in a human body, doing Spiritual work on earth and dancing and enjoying all that this experience has to offer. All of this is God’s work. Whether it be to help one person or a large group or swim with the Dolphins, to think joyful and loving thoughts and do deeds that will contribute to changing the world’s behavior, let each of our days be filled with angelic reasoning.

Mary Ann Williamson says, “As we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.” As the kingdom is in each of us, we change the Whole Earth whenever we turn our thoughts to God!

Divorce and Separation #relationship #relationshipadvice

For years I have led my life with the presumption that all relationships will end at some point, either in a mutual desire to separate or the inevitable—death.  The author of What Happy People Know, Dan Baker, suggests that if you start off a relationship with this understanding, then you will be more attentive to the time you spend with your partner. I tell myself I’m being realistic by believing in this supposition. But, honestly, my belief, sometimes, leads me to fear of abandonment.

Should we spend our lives perpetuating this fear with unrealistic ideations about marriage and relationship lasting forever? Or should we live by the biblical law that “what God has put together, let no man put asunder”? Even the latter doesn’t suggest that God holds together those who don’t belong together.

In an abusive relationship, who would want his sister or friend or daughter to stay in a marriage with a man who beats her just because the loves of religion state that marriage should be forever? I certainly would not want pain for anyone I know.

Do you know anyone who is happy that hasn’t been through a few different relationships? I know one married couple who has been together for as long as I’ve known them. They seem very happy, but I don’t live with them everyday. So, even my perception of their relationship could be wrong. I thought one of my sisters was happily married, only to find out that her husband had been beating her for five years. We simply don’t know what other people live with on a daily basis. So, our judgments about relationship need to change.

I want to operate on a law that states: “Divine love draws together and holds together those who belong together, so that the glory of God may be manifest!”

You see, sometimes, Divine Spirit draws two people together for a time to accomplish lessons and to chip away at the hard shell of resistance around us to our life-long challenges. That certainly has happened to me. I owe a great debt to a few of the partners in my life who have taught me the my hardest lessons by leaving the relationship.
This isn’t a horrible premise, as some would initially believe. I certainly know that if I am to be with someone for a long time, that person will feel the glue of Spirit bind our hearts together for as long as we need. If our entire lives we make good on our spiritual promise to grow together, then so be it. But, if I’m moving forward and my partner isn’t, then maybe that very person whom I fell deeply in love with is holding me back from my greatest gifts on earth. This, too, has happened in my life.

My purpose in this Discovery is not to deny the beauty of marriage or the sanctity of it. Oh, no. I simply want us to stop grieving about a fantasy of marriage that will probably never happen. True love begins in spirit and is perpetuated by the glue of Spirit binding and holding us together.

When there is no eternal glue in a relationship, anything can happen to separate you. This is why I insist on having relationships with people who have the same spiritual ilk as I. I am so much more at ease being myself when I know that the person I love can pray with me, believe in my dreams, and leave the power of change to God. Enough said.

The Time Is Now!

“Come on! Hurry up,” I say to my mother every time I walk out of the apartment. “We’re going to be late!” It’s as if, I think, that I’m going to miss what’s up ahead if I don’t hurry and get everyone else with me to mirror my gate. In some ways, this is great. We want to look forward to the future with clear dreams, but not at the expense of missing the present.

Everything you know and feel is in this moment. If you don’t experience this moment fully, then you never get it back, no matter how many selfies you take of it. Remembering a moment and experiencing a moment are two very different feelings.

For some peculiar reason I have been having optical issues for seven months, ever since I went on a cruise to the Caribbean. I have had swelling in my iris that causes redness and itchiness. All of the expensive eyedrops that were prescribed cause my vision to be blurred, because they contain steroids. As a result, I now own three pair of different prescription glasses, because I simply don’t know how impaired my vision will be on any given day.

I have had to get my tear ducts cleared three times, which involves sticking a four-inch needle into my eye and flushing the duct with saline solution. It’s an awful feeling. If I don’t get this done, I look as though I’m crying all the time. The entire incident with my eyes has caused me to really pray and meditate about what needs to change in my life, because I’m absolutely sure there must be a metaphor somewhere in this mess that I simply haven’t seen. (Just by rereading this discovery I see about ten metaphors already. See if you spot them!)

I tell you all of this, because, sometimes, the now is not the most pleasant place to be. Sometimes, the now can be rife with questions and even pain. But the most important place to exist is in this present moment. Now holds all of the information in the universe you need to exist and transform your life. So, three days ago, I decided, after seven months of medication stopping the symptoms, that I was going to quit taking the eye drops and try feeling the problem again, maybe this time with a clearer mind.

When I first got the symptoms, I was on vacation. But, soon after, my live-in partner decided he wasn’t sure that I was the person he wanted to spend the rest of his life with, so he moved out. In some ways, I feel that the blurriness was telling me that the loving and kind behavior I saw from my partner on that vacation needed a closer look. I didn’t listen to the voice inside and was blind-sided by his sudden need to move out and move on. His decision was precise and authentic. I give him praise for knowing what he wanted. But my present moment was rightly eschewed as a result of his reality. So, I began taking medication right about then.

I’m in a different place now. I feel free and more powerful than I have in many years. So, I’m not reluctant at all to try this experiment with my eyes. The worst-case scenario is that I get back on the eye drops again. But…
“I know that God is all wholeness and that no illness exists in the plane of spirit. I proclaim that I am a part of this magnificent and healing Oneness of God and Spirit. As I feel thankful for this understanding, I treat for my own illness with clarity and perfect eye sight, as Jesus, the Master said, ‘Physician, heal thyself!’”

After I speak into existence my own healing, I release my prayer to the one God who wants all good and healing for me. I know this to be true. I know this to be right and true for you as well. So, I’m going to ask you to pray this prayer with me today. Let’s all pray for each other and watch the evidence of prayer change our world.

Kingdom Life

Have you ever imagined what it would be like to be a prince or a princess? Does a crown of jewels on your head make you think of royalty and riches? Or does the Queen of England in her somber state come to mind, looking rather bothered by the entire world of pomp and circumstance?

I’m more inclined to think of what I would feel like having all the riches and abundance available that I could possibly want, with servants accomplishing things I desire to get done, but couldn’t do by myself. With this in mind, I think of Jesus’ peculiar words: “The kingdom of God is inside of you!” What exactly does that mean?

The only way to imagine that the kingdom is within you is to believe that you are royalty. A person can marry into royalty, or he or she must be of the family lineage. So, you and I are made of God, from Spirit, in the image of Creator—we are, indeed, from the lineage of the King. Simple. You now are a prince or a princess. No one has to grant you any privileges but yourself.

The next thing we would need to know is what kind of laws permit us to have and to do in this kingdom? This metaphor applies to us by knowing the spiritual laws that were pronounced to us by the Master Teacher, Jesus. For example: “Ask, believing, and it shall be given unto you. Seek and you shall find. Knock and the door will be opened unto you.” All of these statements are spiritual laws. Each of them applies to you as a child of the kingdom.
Let’s take the first law: Ask, believing, and it shall be given unto you. If you knew without a shadow a doubt—like commanding a servant to get you breakfast and knowing it would be served to you promptly—you could proclaim and believe in your heart and mind what could happen in your present and in the future, simply by speaking a command and believing it.

So, if you say, “I am stupid and don’t deserve shit,” then, my friend, shit is what you will receive from the law.
However, if you say, “I am a child of the king,” knowing your clout as royalty, and request: “I believe with all my heart that prosperity has come to my house now from ways that I don’t even understand. I’m thankful for this law. I trust this law as much as I trust that morning will come after night, every day, because of this same law.”

Then, and only then, will this law work in favor of you. Today, think about your royal blood. Imagine all day that you are a child of the most high. How different would you act? How much would you ask of the world? Would you be a compassionate prince or princess? Would you want the law to work for everyone, or just yourself?
When you finally feel the kingdom in your heart, I promise, you will manifest just about anything you want in this world. God is ready and waiting to give you the kingdom.

The Art of Positive Thinking

As far back as 1915, authors like Eleanor H. Porter were trying to instill a positive outlook into children through good literature. Her character Pollyanna in the book by the same title has actually become a popular term in the English language for someone with an optimistic outlook. Can you imagine writing something so profound, that one of your characters actually becomes a part of a language?
I share about the Pollyanna Theory because I am an avid writer about sending a positive message and having a hopeful spin to share. I think that’s why I watch ABC’s World News Tonight. The newscast seems to highlight the best in the news, as well as the high points in the tragedies. But even then, the broadcast always looks for the hero or heroine. You have to admire news and reporters who are consistent users of the Pollyanna Theory. I would much rather be uplifted, than burdened by the constant barrage of negativity in the news.

This leads me to my point today. How do we wake up every day with a positive outlook and an uplifted spirit to share? This can be a difficult challenge for most people, as the first thing we often face is chores, deadlines, and negativity. But let’s use the Pollyanna theory to make change in our outlook today.

I had an interesting challenge a couple days ago. I had a friend—let’s call her Sharon—who had a hard day. She came to me with some disparaging news and a heartfelt complaint about how I had been dealing with a certain aspect of our friendship. As always, the first thing that flares up is my Ego. We were both in defensive mode. But, I decided to sit back and listen and observe. A minister friend’s theory passed through my mind: “When a person feels comfortable enough to share a burdensome issue with you, it is a compliment, not a protest.”

I kept that in mind as I listened with more compassion. I suggested, when she was finished, that we say a prayer and ask God to guide us and help us figure out the next step in our relationship. As we prayed, I felt the walls and barriers come crashing down. We both shared the same spiritual outlook.

How wonderful it was to give our burden to God in that moment. We both ended up sharing what we were truly afraid of—abandonment—and had a good cry and a heartfelt, healing embrace. This happened in the morning before I had some life coaching clients. I had a choice: would I carry the problem and solution with me, or would I let it go and let spirit lift me up with this issue to find a great message for my clients? I chose the second choice. It became apparent, when a sense of well-being rushed over my body, that God, angels, and spirits were guiding my course of action with grace and poise. If I could let go as I was doing in that moment—every day—no matter what the challenge—I could always feel hopeful and filled with love to share.

I challenge you today to take something that is bothersome and causing you anxiety and find the authentic, compassionate point of view. Look from all sides to find spirit’s purpose for this challenge in your life. When you discover the issue in its distilled version, then let it go to God and to the law of spirit, which willingly will move it toward love. You have very little to do with the next step. You have more power in keeping a positive attitude about your challenge, than if you keep running over the negativity in your mind like a bad movie looping over and over.
Trust that you will know in your heart what to do next. Keep your mind and soul open to the flow of good always available from Unlimited and Loving God!

Bo Sebastian's Finding Authentic You!: Walking on Sunshine

Bo Sebastian's Finding Authentic You!: Walking on Sunshine: Almost everyone remembers the old Katrina and the Waves song: “Walking on Sunshine,” because of a recent commercial that used it as a theme...

Walking on Sunshine

Almost everyone remembers the old Katrina and the Waves song: “Walking on Sunshine,” because of a recent commercial that used it as a theme song. The chorus goes on to say: “I’m walking on sunshine. And don’t it feel good?”
As I have been living in Southern Florida, out of the thirty days I’ve lived here, it has rained twenty-five of them. I’m not saying that the rain ruined all of the days, I’m just sharing a statistic. Most days, the sky would get dark, the rain would come down like torrents, then the sun would immediately pop out again. We’ve had few days that the sun hasn’t reappeared to create another beautiful day. I’m not complaining at all. I’ve only had to water my plants on the back patio three times since I’ve been here.
Sunshine makes us feel good. Have you ever thought about why? Recent studies have shown that a sensible amount of sunshine (up to 15 minutes without sun block) can reduce our risk of cancer, gives us 90-95% of our essential calcium and also allows our body to absorb calcium from which we get strong bones, reduces heart disease, and prevents diabetes. But the most significant reason is it makes us feel good and prevents us from SADs, which is Seasonal Affective Disorder, a depression caused from lack of sunshine on the body.
I have always noticed that I fight depression and negative thoughts when the sun doesn’t shine for a few days at a time. I can’t imagine living in a place such as Seattle who gets 226 cloudy days a year. I figure that I would be sad or get SAD plenty of the time. I just need sunshine in a very physical way to feel good.
I say all this because, to me, and to most every spiritual thinker, we believe that God is light! Even when I imagine Spirit entering my body, I use the image of light coming in from the top of my head and clearing all darkness, which counter-intuitively usually represents negativity. Only in the Tao theory of spirituality do we understand the holiness and grandiose darkness. Out of the empty, dark space, all creation is made. So, believers in the Tao look at the darkness as holy as well, which gives us great balance in our spiritual belief.
All things are holy now, even the places we imagine or have identified as negative. Everything was created by God and through our Divine Conscious Minds expressing as God. But not everything feels good, like the sunshine. During the day is when we are alive and express in the physical. In the darkness is when most of us sleep. So, we also consider sunshine to be part of our awakened state or deductive mind and the dreaming mind (the subjunctive mind) as part of the darkness.
Let’s imagine today the combination of the Tao theory (the holy darkness) with the theory of sunshine and our awakened, deductive mind to be the power that each of us needs to create effectively in our lives.
We need the darkness of dreams to create imagination: the lightness of our deductive mind to produce action; and together we can create effectively all good in the world. The only Thing and the Thing Itself that is missing in this theory is the Law and the Power of God to move through our creative source (our humanness) to cause a tremendous effect in our reality and bring our dreams to life.
And so it is!

Preparing for the Death of a Loved One!

Sometimes life hands us hard lessons in the form of death and sickness. But, we must always remember in those times that we are vessels of wholeness and love, no matter what we go through. Our affirmation is still the same. God is love and peace; therefore, I am love and peace!
When an impending death looms around you, the first obstacle is not to be sucked into the mire of depression and anxiety of those around you or into the pain of the person suffering. You will inevitably feel some of these human emotions, no matter what; but, stay focused on the purpose of your presence.
First, do you even know what are the intentions and desires of the person dying? Does he or she want to stay in an empty shell of a painful body—just for you? Or would he or she rather be released from that dying body and be in an eternal place of love and compassion—painfree?
My inclinations are that most souls would much rather meet God as the light, than stay in pain. Usually, and not always, the soul that is dying is very connected to those around him or her—friends, family, a particular loved one. So, a soul will often wait to depart until those around him want or allow the spirit to depart into the hands of the Ever-Loving Creator, even though they are in incredible pain.
The second thing we must always desire to be is: God’s purpose. You would not be praying amiss if you would ask God and the Universe what it is for you to do in the moment.
Maybe you just need to sit there silently, allowing a love one to grieve. Maybe you need to be the voice of reason: “It would be okay for you to let go now! _________ is in the loving hands of God, ready to depart this pain.” Or, maybe you just need to weep, as the tears are symbols of cleansing for your own soul and those around you.
In summary, death, no matter if it is an actual person or the death of a job or relationship, grief is inevitable. But, more importantly, as you grow in your spiritual health, you must realize that “all things are happening in accordance to the perfect will of God.” Not just some things, but all things! So, recognize this in your affirmations.
Because God is always peace, I am peace too. Since God is always love and forgiveness, then, I, too, am love and forgiveness, no matter the situation!

What Can I Do, Earth? #savetheearth

The Buddhists have a great, daily prayer: “What can I do for the world today?” In my daily prayers, I often forget to ask the brilliant question that so needs to be answered by all of us individually and collectively: What is mine to do today? Sit in the silence, after asking this question, believing that the wisdom and emotion of your mind and body will lead you to the right and proper place of alignment with the universe’s needs.
Lately, as I have more time to meditate and focus my energy on emotional and spiritual change and my writing, I am being led in different directions to help me be in the right place, in the right time, for something incredibly specific to either help the world or contribute to my specific learning. As a result, I have had more AHA moments in the past month than I have ever had in my life.
For example, I am working on a novel based on a fictionalized version of my own life story called: On the Edge of Learning Alone: A Diary of Anxious Attachment. Before I left Nashville, my goal was to recreate every moment in all my pertinent relationships that contributed to my anxious need for relationship as an adult.
I did this, primarily, to put some much needed periods on sentences that have plagued my entire adult life. When I began to reread the story, which was my intent when I got to Florida, I realized that if I fictionalized the book, it could be the most amazing literary work I have ever written, as the authentic truth just bleeds through every page. However, when I got to the end of the novel, I realized that I had no ending. Instead of fretting about that fact, I decided to simply wait until an ending appeared.
My friend, Thereza, came to visit me for my birthday. As we drove home from a great evening together, she shared with me an insight about my own life I had shared with her before I had left Nashville. However, I don’t even remember ever saying the words she repeated. The result was the answer to my open question about the end of the book.
The answers to all of our queries of God, the earth, and the universe, are just within our grasp. However, sometimes, we must wait with the knowing that the answer is present, but simply hasn’t appeared yet. This was the case with the end of the novel. I couldn’t have imagined a better ending to the most amazing spiritual trip anyone could take—from complete abandonment and abuse to learning to be happy and Alone with God.

Fortunately, For Me #Prosperity

I used to dabble in any hobby, sport, activity, language that I had never tried before, always wanting to set the boundaries of my life far past what was comfortable. In doing so, my purview expanded, my paradigm changed, and even my basic beliefs about God and politics took a huge U-turn, many times. I find that most people think they are open to change but have no desire to bend with the wind and rely on their strong roots to hold them in place during a storm. Fortunately, for me, my roots must have been planted in cement. Though, the effects of change challenged every corpuscle of my being, the roots, themselves, were stuck.
I would find that as I prayed and believed for prosperity and truth to be the burgeoning force coming from my life, I felt as though, I never reached my hubris. Something was amiss between my belief and the expression of it—the effect was not the measure of the cause. I had so much more I wanted to express and be, than what I was actualizing in my life!
I spent many years discussing, praying, therapizing, and studying about why this apparent collapse in force was so in my life. My conclusion came as a result of the most profound belief I have ever had in being created in the image of God. God is Power, not Force! Force takes an equal and opposite push. Power emanates from within and is an expression of the cause resulting from my belief in myself and in God.
One morning, after my meditation, I absolutely knew that I was made in the image of Creator, now fully an adult spirit, ready to create in ways unimaginable to most. I felt surges of life and incongruent energy flooding my mind, daily, ready to find a way of expression through me. I couldn’t wait to get to the computer to write and write and write, until I became thirsty for the living water, flowing freely.
I knew that what I wrote was coming directly from God—no question. However, when I set out to market the books, find an agent and publisher, my belief about God being the source of my inspiration suddenly stopped. I questioned every word I had written. When a negative response came back in the mail from a publisher or agent, I found myself unable to believe that God could produce an unsuccessful writer. Had Spirit been the inspiration behind what I wrote, wouldn’t each book be a success in the market? I would use this argument to self-deprecate and deny my connection with God.
What I had realized, looking back, was that those days of writing from the source were the beginning of my journey toward understanding my spiritual connectivity and power. This path toward truth would take me to many stops along the way to uproot old beliefs and reseed my life with the power God has designated for me and for you.
Fortunately, for all of us, though some of our roots have to be pulled up, we all have “the kingdom of God within us.” So, everything on the path of life is made of Spirit. We are all made in the image of the Hero’s story—facing obstacles through life to strengthen us, only to triumph at the end. That’s the power that makes each of us. If we focus solely on that power, we are successful.

The Effects of Prayer Treatment #believe

Everyone loves to get a prayer answered. However, answers to prayers are not random, as one might think. When praying with divine love and wisdom, the effects of prayer automatically happen according to the law of cause and effect. This law of the universe is here for everyone, not just the good or the believer. You, no matter what your belief, can focus your attention and energy on something—anything—and create it.
You’ve seen these results in your life over and over, both with negative and positive thinking. You want a job, a new car, a home, a child, or on the opposing side—you have anxiety about finances, feel ugly, fat, useless. You dream and think about it, without ceasing. Soon, it appears in your life, good or bad. This is not an accident. It is the law of cause and effect. The cause is your belief and thought. The effect is the right outcome.
So, why can we believe wholeheartedly for some things and not for others? This has alluded me most of my life. I’m sure, because I have had so many clients speak of the same conundrum, that most people have trouble creating good in one particular area of his/her life. Negativity seems to flow unceasingly for many people, because of how much energy they spend thinking about fear and believing in the power of it. Let’s look at this problem today with the science of right prayer.
If you are made in the image of God, God is in you, and you have not because you do not ask (all bible verses)! We all have the power of God on our side to create anything in our lives. We even have the power to create negativity, which is basically the opposite of that which benefits you and other people in the world. In other words, you could want something selfishly, receive it, and it could benefit no one but you. This doesn’t keep the law from not working. Although, we would all like to think that love trumps bad, it often doesn’t—not because God isn’t on the side of Good. God can and is only on the side of the Law, much like law is created in society to protect everyone.
God created the Law of prayer and cause and effect so that the select that would understand this law could bring love and effective change into the world. Spirit counts on you and I to use this law to create the Good in the world, so our societies will not be overcome with evil and destroy itself. This is, perhaps, why you feel led to do good things for people. This desire to help the world is in our Spiritual DNA. Denying is a possibility, but it is certainly there, no matter what you believe about a higher power.
Every day for a few weeks, I pass a lovely woman in my apartment complex. Her smile lights up her pathway. We exchange niceties, but I don’t even know her name, as she doesn’t know mine, either. This morning, after my meditation, I took my dog for a walk. When I came back to the apartment, someone had perched a card on my door.
I opened it anxiously to read it, as I had no idea who it might be from (and it is my birthday week, so the added excitement of getting unexpected treats is in the air). This card was from that friendly neighbor I often pass. She wanted to thank me for being a light to her. She said I appeared to be an angel in her path. How lovely to get that card today—a better gift to me than a birthday card. Just as I had been praying to be a light to the world, the answer to my prayer appears. The cause of my prayer immediately made an effect on the world. I believe Spirit was communicating to me how powerful prayer can be—and how immediate a result could come as I begin to recognize the power each thought holds.
Today, think about the power you have in a smile, a thought, or a simple kind action. Make every moment count!

Listening to Your Body's Needs

If you are created in the image of God, then your body is innately divine. Right? Yes, we are all human and subject to the basic needs of humanity. But, your body, through your conscious mind, is always telling you what it really needs to keep it healthy and pain free.
Yesterday, I got up at five to do my morning routine of yoga, blogging, meditating, etc. In the evening, I was supposed to attend a chakra workshop with a new friend in Miami. However, the workshop was cancelled. My friend wanted to do something spiritual, so he searched on the web and found a yoga class that began at eight in the evening and lasted until ten.
As much as I wanted to hang out with my friend, and even though I initially agreed to go with him, I simply couldn’t go to the class when I intended to leave. The reason? My body spoke to me in a loud voice: “If you go to this yoga class, after the day you have had, already having done yoga, swimming, writing, sitting at your chair editing your new book, you are going to be in serious pain! Don’t Go!” It was that clear and loud.
I don’t like to cancel on friends, so it took every bit of energy to make the call to tell my new buddy that I couldn’t go with him. I was even embarrassed, as we have been waiting a week to do something fun and spiritual together. Fortunately, he is a healing practitioner, and he understood. After the class, he even texted me, “You should be glad that you didn’t go. It was by no means an easy class!”
In that moment, I realized that I am finally listening to the inner wisdom of my body, maybe even listening to angels who knew that it would be against everything I needed that day to go to that particular class. As we get more and more in tune with the universal pull by meditating, affirming our good, and connecting with the ultimate power of love all around us, we can know for certain that this same energy will direct our paths in any way It needs, to help us, give us divine wisdom, and place us on the genuine path of perfect love—even for our human bodies.
I’m knowing this for your body and for you, special friend, today. As you are ultimately connected to the one true power of the universe, always knowing, always participating, always loving you, we recognize that there is a power beyond and in us that generates all Law in the universe. Because we have plugged into this power, we have access to this wonderful, life-giving surge. Today, everything we do will inevitably lead us to our perfect path. We will listen harder to our bodies as they shares with us the food it needs, the friends to hang out with, the drink it wants, and the exercise that will be perfect to keep it healthy.
I’m thankful for this knowing and release my prayer and your prayers to the One True Power of All. And so it is!
