Wouldn’t life be amazing if you could, like the character, Samantha, on Bewitched! twitch your nose and what you dreamed of would appear before you? However, life and dreams begin with seed thoughts, but take deliberate action on your part for them to come into fruition. How might this process work?
When you begin your dream of something new and wonderful in your life, let’s take prosperity, for example, you start with a treatment for success: “Spirit expresses in all prosperous ways. I am one with Spirit, so I too express in prosperous ways. I’m thankful for Spirit showing me all of those ways I am prosperous. I am grateful for the many ways in nature that reflect how prosperous I am. I know that even now all of the finances I need to have to do what I want to do, with whom I want to do it, and as much as I need to do it, is already gathering in my bank account as a reserve and a strong sense of financial security. I release this to the Law of Attraction. And so it is!
Now, to follow up that prayer, you should have a great affirmation to support your vision, every day, until your dream seeds show signs of growth. Sometimes, a seed takes an entire season for it to burst from the earth, gather energy to grow through its beginning stages, and mature to bear fruit. So, you must be prepared with a strong statement to get you through, challenge any opposite effects, and continue your unwavering belief until you get to that place of maturity. An affirmation for prosperity may be extracted right from your prayer, such as this from Unity’s Eric Butterworth. “Prosperity is a way of living and thinking and not just having money or things. Poverty is a way of living and thinking and not just a lack of money and things.”
Now, back to the action part of this process. For example, after your initial prayer, you get a phone call from a friend who asks you to volunteer your time to help young children read. We know that the laws of prosperity are rife with the idea that we must give (pressed down, shaken together and running over) to receive. So, you must take a step forward for the Laws of Spirit to begin to work as you and for you.
Then, after you do your charity work, you get an opportunity to take a free class that could help you gain perspective about a new job. You go (even though you may know all of the subject more than the teacher), and you meet three people who give you sage advice about your next steps forward toward your dream. In fact, one person even gives you a contact name, because she is like your angel (messenger) answering prayers on earth. You could either sit on the contact information, or you could call or email this messenger from God. You decide to email her.
In return, you get an opportunity to interview for a job that will give you 30% more than you’ve ever made in your life. Alas, your positive actions and steps forward have given you the results you wanted.
