When I think of “locking into something,” my first thought is a fixed percentage rate for a loan or a savings account. The reason why we lock in is because this rate may rise in the near future for a mortgage, or in the case of a savings account, may lower. Either way, you take the chance of getting the best rate by securing your rate in that moment. So, how is this information useful in our daily spiritual metaphor for life?
If you’re a financial person, sometimes, you have to see life deductively. Psychology says of the mind of most men that we are deductive beings. Where the feminine nature is to be less deductive and act more on emotions or gut feelings. So, when operating in spirituality, sometimes it’s a good thing to take a look at another way of believing and creating spiritual prosperity using our deductive brain, which may make a man or a person with masculine trait more comfortable.
When you “lock in” on your Truth, this is the reward: If something negative happens to you, you get to wave your Truth Contract in the face of that seemingly negative charge and say, “No, this is my truth. I have already bought into a better, fixed rate (an immutable one)!”
Let me give you an example: You lock into the truth that you are a creator, a mirror image of God, made and created with the instincts and intelligence of Source. One day, your boss comes up to you and says, “We have had to outsource your job. We will need your office by the end of the week.”
Though this may be a devastating blow, you do not have to buy into the idea that you will suffer, be poorer, or lose anything from this change. You can take out your contract and say to yourself and to the universe:
“This is my truth. I am a part of an all-prospering God. I believe that Spirit is moving through me to always provide the best or even better job for me and my family—always. I will sit quietly and ask for guidance, rather than suffer from this news. Spirit must be stirring the pot and acting on my behalf to get me an even better job than I have now.”
This “banking on your truth” is what leads us to trust, faith, and count on our spiritual power as children of the Most High. We are offspring of the Creator—princes and princesses in the kingdom of God. How can we ever lose our birthright or our job or money? All of the prosperity of the earth is as much ours as the birds in the sky flying from source to source for food and water—never floundering, never wondering if they will die from hunger or thirst. Remember the line from the old spiritual song: His Eye Is on the Sparrow, and I Know He Watches Me?
Do you see how understanding your truth, banking on it, and locking in on it can change a negative situation to one of honest and authentic trust? If you have never tried speaking spiritual truth with authority in your life, give Spirit God a chance to change a seemingly negative situation to an amazing lesson that will alter your life forever!
Stand on Principle!
