Has the World Had Enough Suffering? #collective mind #pain #suffering #self-discovery #InfiniteMind #SOM

The most asked question of most religious leaders is: How can a loving God allow so much suffering in the world? This is a tough question to answer when someone’s faith is at stake. So, what if today, we looked at the world and humanity as a manifestation of a loving God that is a growing entity—not only an individual child evolving into an adult, but also a collective entity that will eventually have full responsibility for its choices, once it understands how to choose the best for itself?

A parent does not want his or her child to suffer; nonetheless, we all know that to learn lessons, there is going to be some frustration, anger, and, generally, tears. No parent wants a child to put his or her hand on the burner of a hot stove, but the child is learning how to make volitional choices. As per trying out his own choice, he is most definitely going to make some painful choices and great ones, as well. A good parent helps the child through the painful ones and leads him or her on a path toward happiness.

To that end, I realize that everything bad in my life, all the suffering I have ever had, has made me a better, healthier, and more compassionate man. So, my choices on this subject are two. I can wonder if God just loves to be mean and impose pain on me, or I can see that, as I create situations that teach me greater lessons in my life, sometimes I’m going to choose painful ones. I will, of course, realize that the latter is a better explanation for my pain.

Now, what about situations or choices that had been imposed upon me, such as an abusive parent? In this case, I look at the entire world as one single individual organism, composed of the entire universe. This, too, is also growing. We are a part of that growth, which creates a pattern of choices that are not our own, but somehow the entire organism’s choice, as it also grows into maturity.

When something such as a plant or a mountain matures, does it also learn lessons? Or are we just a part of the entire maturation process of the world, as well as an autonomous individual? And, is this growth happening simultaneously?

Just as God, the creator, and the universe are made of the same substance, so we must share the inherent substance of our Universe. What else could we be made of but the substance of God, the Creator?

In the beginning there was God. So, everything is made of God. We attribute God to be made of love. So, the universe and every human on earth must also be, at the very least, maturing toward love! Why would love want to produce pain? Or even, how could the essence of love produce the essence of pain? Like produces like, right?

I believe that God created a growing, living, maturing effect that teaches itself how to be better, more loving, and more compassionate as it evolves. Also, to that end, the entirety of creation is also the individual of creation. So, our experience is shared with everyone and everything. When each individual learns a lesson, he or she impacts the entire world’s energy. When the mountain moves, it causes an impact on the entire world. We are individuals and also one cell of a very large creation, much like a drop of the ocean. Both the drop and the ocean are still ocean.

So, my question to you is: Could this world, collectively, be reaching maturity in the sense that it has evolved to a place where it realizes individually and entirely that it has learned enough from suffering? If this were so, are we about to use our growing passion for peace and our creative abilities to make a world that mirrors our idea of love?

When enough of us has “this mind that is in Christ,” our world will release from its suffering and become a heaven where the lion lays with the lamb. There will be no more need for suffering.
