Can you imagine growing up in a family that told you—your entire life—that you were born into the chosen race? Every family celebration reminded you that all of your trials and struggles and the struggles of your race were all purposeful and led your entire culture to the Promised Land. Could you also imagine that this same seed-thought planted deep in the mind of every person in that culture growing to cause prosperity for a vast percentage of that race?
Today my meditation was: We are the Chosen People. I am the chosen person!
Even though I may not have grown up in a family or in a culture that believed this thought about being chosen, it is time we realize that ALL OF US have been grafted into the Tree of Life. This life we live is blessed and fortunate. I intend for the seeds of this perfect and Divine thought to go deep into my soul and grow strong roots there.
If we had had seeds planted from childhood that we were chosen, we would all easily accept our good. We would not believe that our good was something we had to earn, but realize that we were already on a path toward our good, always. Even in times of struggle, we were headed to the promised land, learning the lessons of life, retreating from avarice, negativity, and learning the Eternal Laws of God.
Say this to yourself a few times and try it on for size:
“I am a chosen person. I have purpose on this earth. My struggles are always leading me to the light!”
