I have met many people in my life who have had inclinations toward spirituality, but needed a nudge to investigate a little further. I have had clients who when asked if they had ever had a “spiritual experience,” often say something such as: “I’ve never told anyone this, but I saw this vision.. or heard a voice tell me…” In other words, when being completely honest, most people have had moments when they felt something auspicious and wondered if it was Spirit or God communicating.
After some discussion, these same people, with a little encouragement may be led to investigate their own divinity, spiritual truth, and connection to the Source of All. With this opening of the soul comes the Sweeping Influx of Spirit. In other words, Spirit lays waiting in anxious repose for YOU to say, “I’m ready! Come Spirit to enlighten me.”
I must say that this is a tenuous time for people who have had many people sharing their ideas of God. My suggestion is put aside all that you once believed and get alone, like Jesus in the desert. Let your experience be totally yours.
I was by myself. I secluded myself in my bedroom for weeks and fasted most of the time. I wanted the entire experience fully and completely. I had so many out of body experiences, during that time, which formed and shaped my belief. I will never forget that spiritual birth within my humanness. People ask me, “How will I know when Spirit communicates with me?”
My answer is, “There is no way that you won’t know.” However, you will not get even a taste of the fullness of Spirit until you are hungry for Truth and realize that this life is about something so much greater than gaining anything tangible on this earth. When you invite Spirit into and through your soul, it cannot be through the peephole of your heart. It must be like open-heart surgery, literally taking yourself off of your own life support and putting yourself on God’s. This takes total trust, total faith, and total resignation that something greater than you exists beyond all reasoning. And, you must get to know it, intimately.

Remember, as in the title of my new book coming out just in time to help you with this (in March)… lol… that all change happens in your mind, first. You must change your Old Story, to make a consistent and long lasting change in Your Life.
