Today is my 55th birthday. Someone keenly called it my Double-Nickel Birthday. I had never heard of this expression before, but the sound of it stuck in my brain. Above all, I would wish for myself, and anyone reading this, that by 55, we would find the gumption to do what we want, with who we want, and as much as we want—with joy. Thus, we shall reap the vast rewards of the universe with prosperity, joy, and love all around us. That is my hope for my birthday. And, if you’re thinking it is vain for me to be wishing good thoughts for myself, you miss the entire concept of creative thinking and Divine Mind.
If we wait for others to give us—even good wishes—we have waited too long. We must take hold of our lives with the strength of Atlas and begin to speak and think into our lives the exact image of our desires—without letting any negativity hinder us.
It is time. If you have landed on the double nickel point and haven’t reached into your heart to find your greatest joys in life, it is high time you do.
