Did you ever wake up with the thought: I cannot stand to live one more moment the way I have been living? I must make a change or I am simply going to have a nervous breakdown.

If so, you’re not alone. 70% of all people hate what they do for a living. They hate how they have to strive to keep a roof over their heads and, most likely, hate the cubbyhole they have boxed themselves into to stay afloat financially.

For someone who has enjoyed what he does 95% of the time 95% of my life, I can tell you that the other 5% in corporate America was hell. I know that with absolute certainty. Would I trade the days of wondering where my next dollar would be, if I would be insured, and the insecurity of owning my own business for all of the security of a 9-5 job?

Absolutely not—not in a million years.

First of all, what adult likes to be told what to do? Unless you own a business, in a Corporate American job you can be assured that you are submitting in some way to another higher-level human. In so doing, you feel as if every bone in your body resents this chore. Beyond the security of your everyday needs is a part of you acquiescing to someone else’s idea of what you should do, how you should do it, and even telling you what your next steps must be. Very few people have the authority in their own jobs to do what they want, when they want, and where they want without being subject to some kind of audit from the higher-level Corporate Ranks.

So, how do you get out of this conundrum without sacrificing your high-paying job and the security of your family and home?

First of all, any good idea deserves a blue print and plan that has taken some well thought out steps to see if what you are planning is even conceivable. So, think about your greatest idea for the perfect future you have been dreaming about and begin to put your thoughts on paper.

Secondly, take your seed thoughts to the Subjective Mind and plant them in the Mind of God where all dreams are fertilized and grow with Universal Might. (If you are not sure what the Subjective Mind is, do a search in my blog site for the term. There are many discoveries on this subject.)

Third, believe that the doors of the future will begin to open in due time.

Fourth, the most important step is to move forward into your future with the power and force of a creator, one who has been made and formed in the mirror image of the Divine!

Can God make a mistake? Can the thoughts that created you make a misstep? Will the power that keeps the world moving and growing stop at leaving you in a no-win situation?

If you believe otherwise, then you can perceive, dream, and create any new future you desire with the Power of the Universe on your side. And,

“if God before you, who can be against you?”

My friend, Jana Stanfield, wrote a song called “If I Were Brave.” The lyric says: “like the mighty oak sleeps in the heart of a seed, there are miracles in you and me!”

Imagine the truth of this statement. Oaks are one of the greatest and largest trees. All of the potential of that greatness exists in not only the seed, but, also, the will to plant that seed.

The same is true of our own greatness. We all have the potential to be great, but are we planting the seeds for our greatness to express in and through us?

You might ask: how do I begin with this task of finding my own greatness? The moment is now. All you have to do is believe. But believing is not the easiest task when obstacles such as paying the bills, illness, and other’s needs and desires are blocking every doorway, it seems. But, honestly, your first step is the easiest one: believing in yourself… in your potential. Then, you must spend time, daily, imagining that greatness expressing through you.

I never want to limit the power of Spirit through me, so my vision process is always: “I see this for myself OR SOMETHING GREATER.” This gives Spirit the power to intercede on my behalf and help the process in the heavenly realm. We want Spirit to be guiding us the entire time.

The stumbling block, however, can come when WISHING and ACTION do not go hand in hand. The power of a wish has action in Spirit, but it often requires you to take steps with your human feet. If you are too frightened to take those steps, you may completely inhibit every dream trying to manifest through you from the Spirit.

I heard yesterday in a sermon by one of my favorite speakers, Dr. Chris Michaels, that over one half of the Fortune Five Hundred Companies were started from people who have had very little start-up cash. They simply had a dream and a great deal of work ethic. Think of one of the richest men in the America and his story of starting Facebook. I saw the movie about Mark Zuckerberg. He was just a kid in college who had a great idea. The truth about his story is that he would not let anyone steal his dream, and many tried.

So, the steps to Anticipating Your Greatness could be reduced to just a few steps:

1. First, know who you are and what you are made of: the molecules of God. You are a son or daughter made of Universal Love! (Not many of us had the gift of knowing this as children. Many of our parents did not understand how to inspire greatness.)
2. Know that this same power that exists in Spirit, if harnessed, can create great things; first in mind, then in the world—THROUGH YOU.
3. Begin to dream your dreams in meditation and in your quiet time. (You can start a vision board, which consists of pictures and words that you can glue or tape onto a corkboard or poster-board. You can place this somewhere in your home that you can see everyday to inspire you.)
4. Then, when you feel the urge to begin the action part of manifesting a dream: go to class, call a potential client, apply for a job; you must actually step forward into the dream. Don’t think about anything but the action. Don’t even see the end results of the action. Just get used to acting on your impulses for your own good. (I have made plenty of calls and sent loads of letters that I never even heard about back from later. However, this does not mean that this seed did not get sown in the fertile ground of Subjective Mind and is now growing somewhere unbeknownst to me.)
5. Alas, the last step: daily begin to confess your truth about yourself until you see signs of the manifestation. (The founder of the Centers of Spiritual Living, Ernest Holmes, says to “continue to pray until you see the manifestation of your truth.”)

I’m knowing that many of your will begin today to manifest your greatest dreams.

The Power of a Blossom Why Some Dreams Never Manifest #dreampower #self-discovery #InfiniteMind #blossom #SOM

As I passed forty years old, I suddenly became an avid gardener, when in the past I had no desire to dig in the dirt at all. Perhaps, this was Spirit’s way of teaching me the concept of creation through metaphor.

Every year, in the late spring and early summer, I would get up early, just as the sun rose, and begin to take pictures of all the new blossoms in my garden. Sometimes, I would catch a flower blooming, which expressed amazing pictures of creation. Like poetry in action, for a plant to blossom, Science News Magazine (3-22-11) reported that:

Harvard physicists have described for the first time how flowers generate the forces needed to curl open come springtime. In the lily this poetic blossoming is driven by skewed growth at the edges of petals. Over the period of four and a half days, the lily’s young buds slowly suck up water, growing until they’re ready to explode. The petals and sepals—the outer, greener portion of a flower—gradually invert, then peel open like a banana and form a blossom.

The article goes on to say that in the outer parts of the petal there is growth, but in the inner parts of the flower, no growth power occurs. So, as this imbalance of power happens, it forces the bloom to open. Consequently, the curling of the flower edges also face the sun.

Recently, I picked a few bird of paradise stems, three of which had not bloomed yet. I assumed, like most flowers, that the stems would bloom in the vase after being cut. However, the blooms never opened. The explanation above helped me understand that I must have cut them before the edges of the petals had enough power to suck up the water and force itself open. Ever since then, Spirit has been working in me to explain—by metaphor—why some dreams don’t blossom and others do.

If you uproot a bloom before it has had time to generate enough power, it will never blossom. Thus, dreams are the same way. For a dream to have the power to manifest, it must have time, also, to gestate. Gestation is the time, in Spirit, that we meditate and nurture the dream’s growth with creative thought, faith, and our passion. Gestation is the pregnancy or the developmental stage of growth.

Too often our anxiousness for our future to manifest will cause us to act too quickly, giving birth to premature dreams. When this happens, dreams fail or fall short of the explosion of power they need to make their intended impact in your life and in the lives of others.

My friend Carol and I have been organically working on creating a review together called, “Broadway Tonight.” Our goal, at the beginning stages, was to make sure that everything that manifested as we nurtured our dream would come from a very organic place of contemplation, natural growth, and—of course—action.

We started our process in January of this past year and in almost nine months (the time for a baby to form), we are going to perform our show for the first time. In every way, I have watched how the metaphor of creation works as intended when you sow a seed in the fertile soil of Divine Mind; let Spirit grow this seed in due time; and tend to the dream with action, only resulting from—again—contemplation.

For dreams to occur, for flowers to bloom, for the energy of Spirit to manifest as something amazing in our lives, we have to be careful not to disturb the power of the Law. When the Law is set in motion with our dreams and passion, then we must also trust that the Law already knows how to manifest and give shape to that dream, perfectly.

Out From My Declaration #creating #dreaming #newfuture

If you cannot imagine what you want or desire to attain in life, you probably will never see change manifest. The creative process is specific to building an amazing edifice. You must begin with a great blueprint and a plan. Make a list of things you need? But even more specifically, to do this, you must have a crystal clear vision of what you desire to create. 

Great architects even build small replicas of their larger ideas to maintain their vision. After they build these mock-ups, they show them to their clients to share their vision. So, how can we take these steps and manifest a new, happy, and prosperous dream from our declaration?

Vision boards are a great way to begin the dreaming process. If you have never made a vision board before, simply take a large piece of cardboard or a corkboard and begin placing cut out pictures from magazines and printed-out pictures from the Internet on the board, displaying carefully what you want to manifest. Print out large words that are key to the change, such as DREAM BIG AND CLEAR! to remind yourself to take time to focus everyday.

Most importantly, once you gain a clear vision of what you desire, you must move forward and take steps to manifest your dream.

Every building process takes a blueprint, a financial plan, and time delineation. You need these aspects for dream to manifest.

Once your plan is foolproof, you can begin to take steps forward. Building your foundation strong enough for your life to support your dream take prioritization. Know your plan and stick to it, no matter what you hear or see from the people around you. You are in charge of your new life. Take the reins!

Once you begin on your path toward your dream, there may be blocks ahead. But a great architect continues to see the finished product throughout the building process. You may have to sidestep some of your old plans to get to the end result. But, you will not stop—you cannot stop—until the vision is complete.

Ernest Holmes speaks of the creative process saying that you must continue to “treat” for your vision until you see the manifestation of it. This doesn’t mean that you don’t believe your dream while you treat for your vision. But, speaking your truth daily, like an affirmation, bears great import for your own mind to stay on target to your great and fabulous future.

Living Your Wonderful Dream

From the moment I began writing Finding Authentic You Blogs, my life has changed by leaps and bounds. Every aspect of my personal and business life is different than it had been just three years ago. Sometimes, I have to pinch myself to actually believe that all of my prayers have come true. Living my dreams, if I feel afraid and unworthy, can become anxiety driven, if I don’t step out of my old paradigm of limit and prepare my heart for the great and perfect world of unlimited God and good!

Much of my life I have prayed and prayed without every really believing that my dreams could come true. The difference in my life, now, is the way I have prayed has changed. I now pray, believing that I am a part of the perfect and unlimited good of God. When I reach out from this circle of grace into the subjective field—the place where dreams manifest—I pray with the certainty that I am a co-Creator with Divine Consciousness, who is always ready to give me what I need, when I need it, and more than enough to share with all those around me.

Each discovery has brought with it a modicum of change, as the first book of “Finding Authentic You” was about effective change. This second book, which is now near completion, is more about changing your old story and believing and praying effectively for a new and wonderful life.

As I step into this new life with amazing gratitude, I now understand what people mean when they say that each day they feel blessed. Even when it storms, I find a way to uncover the great wonder that exists around me. My life begins and continues with my story I set in motion when I wake up in the morning.

Like most days, the first action I do is to sit up and meditate. I challenge my mind to stay present with my breath. I set a divine intention. Then, I sit with that intention, bringing to it mental equivalents such as thankfulness and feelings in my life that drew me to life’s simple, but magnificent beauty (like the beach, last night, as I sat watching the rolling waves wash into the shore on a bench just feet away, wrapped in the arms of someone I care about).

I am knowing that our lives—yours and mine—are like that sandy shore, just drinking up the living waters of life splashing with delight into our lives, always ready to grace us with the precious power, peace, love, and joy we deserve. You ARE your dream now, as am I. SO IT IS!

Edgar Finkelstein & Making Space for Dreams

If God gave you a dream, would you have the moxie to move forward with it, even if you didn’t understand what to do, how to accomplish it, or even have the wherewithal to begin? This is when spiritual inspiration becomes miraculous. All greatness needs is one person with a God-inspired dream to change the world.

Look at Martin Luther King. He had a dream for integration. His dream lives on because he walked forward, even when fear and forces beyond his control tried to stop him—did stop him personally. His dream, however, was God’s dream. Even his death inspired millions to keep the spiritual force of his dream moving forward all the way until today.

Often dreams start in the mind as spiritual inspiration. From there, with prayer and deliberation, these dreams start to take shape.

My latest literary idea started off as a spiritual dream to write a blog that would help people with life’s spiritual issues. Almost every time I go into meditation now, I get an idea about it. Soon after my meditation, I go to my computer and write down what I heard. I have been working for the last month on finishing all the material I need to follow up on this dream, so I can begin the process of making the vision reality. I expect it may take another four months total to finish now, because every day it seems to grow in my mind. I have a builder. I have the money. I have the inspiration. All I have to do is keep stepping forward every day into the dream to make it take shape.

I simply do what I know—write, record, market, coach, use hypnosis, and design. Almost every gift I have ever been given in life has been utilized to finish my new project. I find myself more excited about it than I have ever been. The inception of the idea, as I said, began as this blog. Now it is an 800-page book called “Finding Authentic You, 7 Steps to Effective Change” with a “Year to CLEAR” Challenge, which took me two years to write.

Every day has been an inspiration directly from God since I have heard that I was to begin this new project. The purpose and the goal of the book became completely spiritual. Most days I have had no idea what I would write when I sat down. I simply sat with space in my mind and in my life to fulfill the goal. Spirit did the rest. I had no idea what I had been composing was a book and now a new interactive website.

I try not to imagine the end results. The result is something that is up to God. I don’t want my ego to take control, as it has in other artistic endeavors. When my ego gets involved, it seems that most of my tribulation and exhausting tension comes from the end result not matching what I believed will or should happen. So, I know from past experience, much of the results of my other projects must have been ego dreams.

Ego dreams and spiritual dreams are different. If you have been inspired by spirit, you may not be in control of the end result at all. In fact, God may have a completely different idea in mind. Think of the great spiritual leaders who were led by God. Moses stuttered, but was asked to represent the nation of Israel. King Solomon was led to bring peace to the kingdom of Judea, as he kept walking forward with God’s purpose for his kingdom, writing psalms, songs, and proverbs. He had no idea that thousands of years later he would inspire billions.

With a spiritual dream, the intent is more about walking on the path while you create the goal. This is the divinity within you manifesting miraculously in the perfect present. Bless each day of hard work, because the end result is not entirely up to you. You can fuss and fret about what “should” happen at the end, but only God can define that.

Just like little Edgar Finkelstein. Edgar actually is a Mini Lop Rabbit in San Francisco that is looking to be adopted. He’s very cute—adorable, really. Someone apparently had a dream for little Edgar to have a beautiful home with a loving parent. This little bunny inspired someone to create a weird name, on-line chatter, and an amazing marketing scheme to help that perfect person find his little pet.

My dog wants to run after every rabbit and play “eat the bunny.” Fortunately, the rabbits are much faster and more attentive than Coco. Otherwise, I would be having rabbit stew a lot. I’m out of the running to be the adoptive parent of Edgar because of Coco. But that doesn’t keep me from wondering who will be the proud parent. Edgar now has endless possibility because of one person’s dream for him to have a home.
