Your Mind, the Universe— Is There a Difference? #spirituallaw #shapingyourfuture #spirituality #SOM

This is what I know. From an intention, from the Mind of Spirit, God created everything we know and see as ourselves and as the universes. It is said that this Mind of God is firmly grounded and stabilized by the Law of Love.

Somewhere in this creative process—God, as the essence—decided to create, in kind, a human like Itself. So, we must all be what God is. When we look in a mirror, if we do not see God, this statement cannot be true.

When we look at the universe, do we see the majestic power of a Creator? If we do not see majesty and power, we do not recognize God. If we do not recognize God, we cannot possibly see the nature of God in ourselves.

What is incredibly interesting about the paragraph above is that all of this, which I know, is computed, deducted, and formed in a mind that is contained in the fragile shell of a human body. But, is our brain the same thing as our Mind? If you took the brain out of the body, would it still hold all of the vast information we attain during life or would it die holding nothing in its cells?

When we dream we get a great idea of the unlimited expanse of the Universal Mind we use through this fragile brain. Our brains allow us to compute and deduct what we experience in this world and also in the dream world of the Mind. With both worlds competing for power in your brain, which do you allow to be the leader of your brain?

If you allow money, pretty and petty things, the allure of sexuality and fun to completely encompass the brain, then you will not be able to experience the total expanse of the Unlimited Mind of God. Enjoying life is perfectly wonderful, but we must balance it with our truest nature, which is godlike.

We can see into this mind through the consciousness of Divine Mind, which we are connected to, should we plug into Its Infinite Power. This would be like wanting to use electricity, so we plug in the toaster and get power. Without plugging into the surge of power, we get no toast. Without plugging into God Power, we do not get access to the power of Divine Mind.

Some of the greatest minds in the world have understood this concept. You would hear from these great scientists and forward thinkers that they spend much time in contemplation, first, before ideas come through them. Usually, in the quiet, inspiration comes abundantly. Why? Because this is the time that we connect with the Whole, with the one Mind that is ours in perpetuity.

You are not just your body, my friends. You are a human being, holding the vast, eternal Oneness of God. You are the Mind of God living, moving and working as God on this earth. If you choose to see your life as this, everything must change.

Your Own Subjective Mind #subjectivemind #mentalpictures #spiritualadvice #psychicenergy

To define your spiritual self, you must see the difference between your humanness and that place in Mind that perceives your individuality. These are two vastly different entities. But, it is with this reality that the two can become one and that your human experience can help you become enlightened.

We have learned that the to create in this world, we must connect with the Subjective Mind. From this arena or creative medium all life proceeds. We have often used the metaphor of the seed (or the thought) to the earth (the mental medium or subjective mind). We all have, as well, an individualized subjective mind that is profoundly connected to the Universal Mind, yet individuated. This gives each of us our own identity and creates our own personal perceptions—both consciously and subconsciously.

According to Sacredtexts.com, one’s own subjective mind is:

Our mental emanation in Universal Subjectivity; it is our individual use of mental law. It is also the avenue through which Instinctive Man works, carrying on the functions of the body; for it is the silent builder of the body. The subjective mind of the individual is the working of Instinctive Man within himself, plus all of his conscious and subconscious experiences.

Breaking this down is not easy, because you must have a working understanding of metaphysics and the Science of Mind to clearly comprehend the terminology here. Heretofore, I will try to make this easier to understand.

Each of us gives off individual energy. We all have a way of processing the effects of our day, of reacting to that which happens around us, and use it to help or hinder us on our individual paths. This is our mental emanation. This is the energy we give off to the world from our own personal storage of energy and thought.

This storage place of thought is also where we create our own laws for ourselves and use them to frame our world. Without this ability to function individually, we would not be able to take care of our bodies and use our personal mind to guide us in our work, relationships, and personal lives. So, our individual subjective mind is really more or less the storage place for our thought. It is the brain, because it is where we store both conscious and subconscious thought. Within our brain is also a human storage place for DNA and instinct, which is like the mainframe of a computer that comes with system software to help the computer function properly.

The human brain is not to be confused with Mind, because the Mind is the place where we universally coalesce with God and all other sentient beings. Our own individual minds are only individual if we keep ourselves from connecting to the whole. In other words, an electrical current can happen from a battery (DC power) or you can connect to the main outlet of your house, to the city, or to the world. There is individual thought, but all thought, more or less, comes from the one power source—Divine Mind. All thought comes from this One, Universal Mind.

In science, when something new comes from something that has already been discovered, it is known as resultant evolution. For instance, when two chemicals are combined to produce something new, this would be a resultant evolution based on two other chemicals coming together to form something new.

However, when something new is found that has new intelligence and cannot be based on any lower forms or chemistry, it is known as emergent evolution. Since emergent evolution seems to be an idea that would favor human beings not evolving from apes, emergent has been denied precedence in the scientific world. In many cases in life, though, we see something new coming from an idea, rather than an older form of it. But, you would have to believe that some kind of creation exists to favor the term emergent, even if you simply believe in Creative Thought.

Ernest Holmes says, “When Intelligence makes a demand upon Itself, It answer Its own demand out of Its own nature and cannot help doing so! … Whenever the Universe makes a demand upon Itself, out of that very demand is created its fulfillment.”

This is hard stuff to digest, but very interesting, nonetheless. Emergent Evolution has much to do with the human mind and how we create. For instance: were airplanes held in the mind of God, like a warehouse, with many different evolving flying machines in it, ready to be given to the earth when man thought of it? Or, did man conceive of airplanes from a Creative Mind and then allow this new form of machine to be a product of Mind or New Thought?

If you have spent any time around inventors and great thinkers, it is as if these idea-makers clear away all former matter in their minds, then go into a trance and allow for new ideas to emerge. They dream and imagine, and from this space, produce objects that the culture and society have never seen before.

Oftentimes, though, we see something that we, too, have conceived in a dream and think, wow, I actually remember imagining something just like this new invention. What if I had listened to my imagination and created this myself? I would now be rich and famous!

But, only those people who have faith in what is not seen can conceive and then give birth to an idea from Creative Mind. This is much the same as the process of creative thought and prayer in any individual. We all have this creative power in Mind.

If you can think it, it is in your mind already. If it is in your mind, then it is already a reality.

However, it takes a belief in the human process to actualize anything that is in Mind. Hence, we have from Creative Thought brought forth Emergent Products to be enjoyed by all.

Yes, the computers and handheld mechanisms we use today we could argue are resultant from the first computer. However, who can argue that somewhere, somehow, in the mind of someone, that an initial, intriguing idea of a computer existed? From that idea emerged everything we know now about computer technology. That first idea about a computer is Emergent Evolution!

Take a human and erase her mind. What then do you have? The answer is a disintegrating body that will eventually die. So, without mind, the body cannot survive. We see this profound truth almost daily in lives that have Dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease. If you have ever been a caregiver to one who has had either of these diseases, you know what an empty shell of a body looks like. It doesn’t resemble a human being at all.

Ernest Holmes says: “when one realizes that everything is Mind and that nothing moves but Mind, and that the only instrument of Mind is thought (which is contemplation in some for other), he will see that nothing can permanently heal unless it be accompanied by right thinking.”

So, when you look in the mirror and the only thing you see is your expanding gut, look again. You are not your body! You dwell in your body. But your essence is your thought about your body. So, then, why are you thinking negative things about it?

Have you ever noticed that the moment you get inspired to take care of your body by dieting, exercising, and quitting a bad habit, that you feel different when you look at yourself in the mirror? Yes, you notice the difference in your body, which is in essence, the manifestation of your thoughts. But the truth is you are seeing the power of your thinking mind in action. 

When you direct your mind to anything, give consciousness to it, all of life changes. This Power of Mind is the only thing in life that coordinates, takes care of, and creates through our humanness.

So, what do we have to learn from this fact?

Everyday that you contemplate your true essence and your power as a creator on this earth, you become more like God. Humans inherently are afraid of that aspect of themselves, and rightfully so. Our Egos tend to get entwined into our creative power and think ourselves greater than God or greater than others.

So, with this power, we must have the responsibility of using it and directing it with love and compassion—always. Ultimately, peace and unity are our goals. If we have not love, we have missed the entirety of our Mind and have lost the reason why we have come to this earth as humans.

Fake It? #spiritualadvice #DivineMind #ScienceofMind #SOM #SpiritualLiving

I have asked a few very happy people how they stay positive all of the time. The answer from all of them was the same: “Even when I feel as if I cannot muster a smile, I fake it. I pretend I am happy. Interestingly enough, not long after that, I actually feel happy!”

So, remembering this interesting concept, the last few days I have tried my hand in doing just that. Fake it until I make it! Is it difficult? Not really, not when you consider the only other choice we have is to go around sulking all day and, ultimately, we will bring more sadness or negativity into the world. We certainly do not want that.

If we truly believe in the concepts of Spirituality and the Science of Mind, then we believe that all things that manifest in the world are just a reflection of our mind. So, if we believe this important concept, then we must consider making a strong attempt at keeping negativity out of our minds. Is that faking it? Or is this having faith?

I would say faking it (in this instance) is more living our truth, instead of trusting the manifest world to be anything but an indicator of what we need to work on in our own humanity. Sometimes believing in something wholeheartedly results in testing yourself about your own truth in the matter. This happens to all believers, including Jesus, who was tested in the desert. Did He want to take that water? Of course, he wanted to. But did He believe in his heart that his truth was greater than the illusion of that water? I would say, ABSOLUTELY.

Eventually, as more and more minds attune to the Truth of their own divinity as taught in the Science of Mind, the manifest world will become more and more peaceful, reflecting a whole and healed mind! (Remember, we are all one mind.) So, even our struggles are a collective struggle. When we overcome anything in this world, we all overcome negativity together.

The energy of the one goes into Universal Mind and makes its indelible mark there forever.

Your Invincible Thoughts #humanpotential #DivineMind #ScienceofMind #SOM #SpiritualLiving

Let us imagine that entire world was made of water. Every time we think something wonderful, a piece of ice forms in this water. Eventually, the water would be filled with pieces of ice. Yet, this entire world of ice, if regulated with warm temperature, would and could turn back into liquid. This is a metaphor for Divine Soul or the subjective matter of the Universe. When we think, we change the consistency of this matter to bend and shape toward our beliefs, though the matter, Itself, is and will always be the creative substance of the Divine Soul and has no inclination but to grow you and shape your thoughts into manifestations.

So, this process also manifests in our small world of humanity. We can think and believe with invincible thoughts to use this perfectly attainable subjective matter and create manifestations from our thoughts and beliefs.

This reality happens all of the time. Oftentimes, though, we see that our negative beliefs and fears are manifesting more than our positive thoughts. This is because our thoughts go into a Divine Soul that cares not, that cannot care or think, but simply must respond—much like the earth responds to a seed that we plant. The earth does not spit out weeds. WE MUST PLUCK THE WEEDS OUT. So, when we think, the Law of this subjective matter is to respond. It’s that simple.

What we don’t realize, often, until too late, is that our thoughts are magical and powerful—even invincible. So, when we begin to step forward into this great power of thought and change our lives, it’s as if we have been handed a magic wand—from Source—that can transform all of our negativity to positivity, truth, love, and prosperity. Yet, we take this sacred wand in our hands and misuse it.

The truth behind the wand, which has always been the truth, is that:

The only INVICIBLE THOUGHTS ARE THE ONES CREATED AND FORMED IN LOVE AND WITH THE DESIRE TO MANIFEST PEACE AND TRUTH.

Interestingly enough, the subjective matter doesn’t conform to just truth and love. It is humanity that moves towards truth and love, automatically, because built into our DNA is a sense of truth that no one can deny.

Even the worst of criminals have this truth. They may use it in scary ways, like the terrorist in 9-11. But, ultimately, these minds had an invincible power within them that thought they were doing right for their idea of God, so much so that they sacrificed their bodies.

Think about that same power being used for Good. If you know the stories of the Christian bible, you can refer to the time in history, just after the death of Jesus, the master teacher. 

The student of the Christ were on fire with the truth. They were doing miracles, spreading the word of Jesus with every breath, because within them was the seed of invincible power to give the world back to Truth and Love. They saw the truth with their eyes—they saw the Spirit of Source rising from the ashes of death. Because they believed, they, too, sacrificed their lives.

Our words and beliefs are invincible, whether you believe this or not. You are creating every time you think. If you knew this to absolutely true, you would never think a bad thought about anyone or about yourself again. You would only imagine—with great power and invincible force—that the world is completely at peace. You would, also, see yourself and all the people you know completely whole—NOW!

When we speak of the Soul, we must always consider that the Soul is Divine Matter from which all things are created. It is much like the soil. The soil does not have choice, nor does the Soul. When you plant a sunflower, the soil gives you a sunflower. Were the soil to have a choice whether to reject your desire to plant a sunflower, then the world would be full of chaos. For this Divine Reason, the soul holds the subjective of the Mind, just like the soil is subjective to our choice of what to plant.

Does this make the soil any less powerful? Does this make the Soul any less a part of God? Absolutely not. The Soul is God in the sense that it is the matter from which the Mind God creates.

What human on earth could create a plant or animal? All the intelligence on earth can’t produce something from nothing. Yet, soul has the power to take an idea from Divine Mind and turn it into substance. Even though it is subjective, it is, nonetheless, the power of God.

To understand the power of the soul is to be seated at the right hand of all the Masters of the World, who understood how to create substance by using the power of Divine Mind in this subjective field of Possibility—Soul.

As you step into your own power as a small creator in this world, understanding the use of Divine Mind and directing it to the subjective field of possibility, it is as if Daddy has given you His credit card, saying: “Look, Son or Daughter, now you don’t have to ask me to get what you need. You, too, have the power to create on a smaller scale, in your own individualized world!”

When you begin to grasp this great gift from God, you will have nothing but completely thankfulness for this gift. My eyes look toward the beauty of the sky and perfect plants and animals and think, Wow, what created ALL OF THIS exists in me on some small level! What an amazing feat it would be to actually understand this and use it to benefit the world and help my own life manifest in peaceful, loving, and prosperous ways!

Some people, especially those who create rules and laws in religion would love for you to NOT know your individual power in this world. They live in a world of you OR me. Instead, truly spiritual people live in a world of you AND ME.

I know that if you are reading this Discovery, today, the time has come for you to understand that you were made in the image of God; therefore, you are a small god, albeit, a creator, holding the same powers as the one who created the Universe.

Because this is true, you now have the opportunity to experiment with this power in your own individualized world. You are meant to learn to walk, as it were, in Spirit, using the powers of the Laws set before you by God, not by religion or man.

Don’t you think it’s time for you to be an adult in Spirit? If you do, then begin to understand the power of the subjective soul and the pure possibility of a life, using the Divine Mind to create in this amazing world.

Consciousness Must Create! #StephenHawking #TheTheoryofEverything #storyofcreation #InfiniteMind #spiritualadvice #SOM

When I think of the vastness of the universe, I compare the smallest particle of physics with the latest discoveries by Stephen Hawking in “The Theory of Everything.” From this vantage point, I see the incredible expanse of the universe. I am immediately in awe and reverence to the Consciousness behind all that is.

You see, in the beginning there MUST HAVE BEEN Consciousness. It is NOT possible for consciousness to be created from nothingness. So, consciousness had to have EXISTED BEFORE the beginning of all that was created.

In fact, the seed of all that is, began in the Mind
 of this Universal Creative Consciousness.

As this Consciousness began to manifest in individual forms, simultaneously it created Law and Order for these forms. So, all that was created was good and in order.

As this Mind created individual intelligence in humans, Creative Intelligence in Mind individuated into each of us as consciousness to be able to see this creation. We could not observe and appreciate anything without consciousness. However far your imagination can take you, this Universal Creative Consciousness exists. For without it, nothing was created.

Many people think there is no force behind the universe. These naysayers proclaim that everything began in vast space. But, space can only be seen or experienced through consciousness. So, even the greatest scientists must admit that we can’t experience anything without, first, having consciousness. So, without this Initial Thought from Consciousness, nothing would exist, including you and I. I don’t care what you call It, but IT EXISTS. There is proof IT everywhere you look and perceive.

When I begin my prayer treatment for anything or anyone, I begin with what I know… with what I experience all around me in the trees, the flowers, the beautiful sky, the intricacies of tiniest of insects. I immediately find myself in a different space of mind, because deduction and perception are in two different parts of the brain. One is the Deductive Mind and the other the Inductive (Creative Mind). When I connect with that Inductive Consciousness, I immediately begin to think greater thoughts than the ones confined to my tiny brain’s deductive processes.

This is the experience of a great meditative mind—one that not only contemplates the vastness of the Universe, but experiences the Mind with which this universe has been created.
