“Oh Dear Lord, Three things I pray. To see thee more clearly, love thee more dearly, follow thee more nearly day by day.”

I just got off of the phone with a friend who has been through so much. Yet, today another hiccup to pray for. I’m at a home of a friend who has taken ashes from his life and built a kingdom where there was once just memories from which he couldn’t run if he tried.

The truth about life is that we live it day by day. There is no secret cure for all the “stuff” that happens. We have to learn to love each day and the miracles that each day brings. Seriously, from the worst tragedies I have watched the biggest blessings occur. God turns tragedy into love, strength and power.

I sit here in the silence waiting for God’s blessings today.
