Wouldn’t your life be wonderful if you could consistently see yourself through the eyes of someone who adores you? Wouldn’t you care for yourself more, respect your wishes more, and relate to the world in a more confident way?

Lately, I have been working on seeing my life as perfect reflection of the divine. I spend little time in my meditations sowing seeds and ideas into the Universal Mind and a greater amount of time releasing my desire to control Universal Mind.

My ego, somehow, believes that I can boost the rate of growth of my dreams by mindfully impressing my thoughts into the universe. What I have noticed as a result of this kind of control is that it is exhausting. Not only exhausting, but by trying to impose your timeline on the Universe, you tell Spirit that you have no faith in the Law. Disbelief is simply negative energy, which does not produce results.

So, ask yourself this question? Is the same power that created the incredible, magical, and abundant universe—within you? If you can meditate on this principle and believe that each of your cells already holds the capacity to be whole and prosperous, then you have created the best treatment in the world.

There is great important in treating for our good and sowing seeds into the Subjective Mind. This treatment reawakens our minds to our intent. However, the universal mind got our order the moment we spoke it—THE FIRST TIME. The seed was planted. The power of growth had begun. And in the mind of God, it is done, already. So, as part of our prayer treatment, we must release this thought, desire, and idea—COMPLETELY—to the Law.

Release means to let go—totally. Have you done this with your dreams? Are you trusting that, in due time, what you believe to BE yours already is manifesting in the universe just as a seed grows into a tree and bears fruit? If you cannot say that you believe this premise, entirely; then, you must spend more time this week focusing in on letting go and trusting in your belief in the Law.

Believing Is Receiving #prayer #treatment #DivineMind #ScienceofMind #SOM #SpiritualLiving

Nothing is more frustrating in life than putting all of your energy into believing in something… anything… and then watching it fall apart before you. Once, I got a book deal from a publisher. I signed the contract. I went through the long year of getting the book to press with lots of glitches. Finally, when it was time for my book to launch, that day the Nashville Flood happened. No one came to my launch. I sat on my porch and watched the rain wash away my dreams, it seemed. I didn’t have the answers then. But, today, maybe I do.

Later, the next year, in fact, the publishing company launched a campaign for my book, and that same book that lay dormant for a year landed on the New York Times Bestsellers list. But, until then, I think I sold about 100 books. One hundred books in a year was how my dream manifested for a long time, before something changed. What made the difference between one hundred books and a bestseller?

The bible says that God knows our prayers and answers them before we even ask. But, the substance with which answers are made can only respond to the power of our belief.

If, after the flood, I decided that this was the end of my book career, then the Universe would ambivalently respond in accord to my belief. If one day I say, yes, I want this. The next day, however, I say to Spirit, “I’m not worthy!” then the subjective matter with which makes prayers manifest doesn’t have a clue what to do. Because it is like the soil, it doesn’t have a decision making process. It is acting upon your belief system.

Remember, the Word of God, the Power behind prayer is what makes the universe. The subjective matter is like the soil. It can only respond to your word. So, even God cannot change the Law of that process. This is the Law God gave us to manifest as creators. He shows us this Law by It’s wonderful creation process of our amazing universe, which was set motion by the word. God didn’t say, “Let me make man in my imagine,” one day, then on day two say, “Hmmm. I’m not sure Man is a good idea!”

No, God set in motion the word into the subjective matter and continued to believe (perhaps for millions of years) that these seeds of truth would manifest into planets, life forms, and eventually man. Who knows. I wasn’t there, but that is what science says happened.

God wants you to have anything you desire. But, if you do not learn the Law of the Universe and continue to believe in your truth, then prayer becomes ineffective. How, then did my book get to the Bestseller’s list?

Good question. About a year later, I decided that I would not let what had happened in the past change my belief about this book. I had spent a lot of time and energy and money on creating the product, and I wanted it to succeed. So, I dug up all the weeds I had planted of unbelief, and began, again to sow seeds of faith. A couple of months later, the manifestation of my positive prayers came forward.

Sometimes, disasters happen in our lives to test our faith, to see if we really desire those things that we pray for. We must, in those times, really search inside and decide if what we want is solid and true. Otherwise, the flow of energy moving toward our manifestation—the dream itself coming alive, even if it is on the eve of the birth of your creation, will suddenly stop. This has happened to me countless times, enough times for me to realize that I am halting my own good from manifesting.

Only you can know the amount of unbelief you hold in your mind. Soon the unbelief will surface, though. You will face it and have to ask yourself: Is this what I really want? If the answer is, yes, no amount of adversity will stop the flow of energy toward your good. The reason I know this is true is because of the Law. Law cannot change midstream.

Look at the law of electricity. When you plug in your toaster, electricity does not say, “Oh, today, I think you do not need toast, because you are gaining weight.” No, if electricity exists in your power box, it will power your toaster. It must. Even if you truly need to lose weight. That’s the law. The energy to “not have toast” exists in your own decision making process.

The same is true for the Law of Cause and Effect in the Universe. Prayer (planting the seed with the Word) moves into the Subjective Matter (the soil—the Soul) and what happens next is a matter of time. Trust me, there is no amount of faith and human action that you can take that will grow that plant. The growth is done through Law by God. However, setting the Law in motion is yours for the taking.

When you think of Jesus, we often think of a humble man who produced great miracles in his time. Yet, to some his comments would almost sound acerbic or snarky in today’s vernacular. For instance, he tells someone who needs a healing and who has probably seen Jesus heal others: “Physician, heal yourself!” Why would he say such a thing?

The person he was speaking to was probably someone who had great spiritual potential and could call upon the powers of his own mind to change the nature of his body. Jesus knew that everything, all of his miracles, were a result of the power of Mind—that collective Mind that we all share. Jesus thought with great power; therefore, he made great things happen.

His desire was to teach a few of his disciples and apostles the use of this power, because He knew attending to teaching others would result in more people having the spiritual power he came to give. In other words, he didn’t come to produce miracles; he produced miracles so that people would believe they could have this same power!

Jesus healed the sick, because he wanted people to know that the power to heal was present in this universe of Mind. If you spend some time on the Internet searching for “stories about healing by faith” or something similar, you will come up with a myriad of pages that show testimonials that cannot be explained by science or medicine. However, psychology may be reaching a place where we can understand the power of one’s own mind over the body. The mind controls the body. If we learn to use this power, we can overcome any obstacle in body and in our lives.

You don’t have to look too far to see that most people in the world are not using this creative power to heal or bring peace to the world. Unhappiness and sickness is all around us in droves.

However, a growing community of spiritual believers—movers and shakers in the Science of Mind community—have learned to use their minds to change a better world. It is the duty of this Spiritual Community to help others learn to do the same, just as Jesus did.

We don’t go to foreign lands and just pour money and paper goods on the poor and downtrodden to help them. No, we go and teach these people to farm and build, so that they can have the tools to survive after we leave. This is a perfect example of teaching others the power of the Mind.

I have set out to do this very thing in the blogs that I write with love and compassion every morning. I get no financial reciprocity from writing this blog. It is my duty as a spiritual man who has found the truth to share this joy, healing, and power of prosperity with others.

If you don’t use a percentage of your good to pass on your truth and prosperity in mind and body, then you are not sharing your worth with the world. I am not scolding anyone today. I hope I am inspiring you to share even the smallest of good with those around you. Your happiness and your successes will cause others to believe they have the power to produce in kind. As Marianne Williamson said:

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.” And “We are not held back by the love we didn't receive in the past, but by the love we're not extending in the present… The practice of forgiveness is our most important contribution to the healing of the world.”
