In all of our lives, never has it been so clear how our power of choice affects our day-to-day life. If we choose a lens of negativity to see through, this lens will certainly eschew everything we see. If we choose guilt as the lens, we will find reciprocity in the activities we do—good and bad. If we choose happiness as the lens, all of life will look like a playground. However, if we choose to look at life through a God-Lens, then all of life has order—the chaos is gone—even in those places that have confused us for years.
I have a dear friend who is consistently fighting the negativity ideas he gets from looking at life through a lens of poverty. He has been looking through this lens for years and years. Every time he gets a good job, something happens to impede his progress forward. Today, it was that his great new job is now going to close its doors in three months because the boss mismanaged the business and does not have the money to pay the bills. If this is your reality, or a dear friend or family member’s reality, here is the answer to the dilemma:
CHANGE THE LENS!
I know it sounds too simple, but it is the truth. If you know your truth and stand on sound principle, nothing can shake you—not even bad news.
This is what I know about my friend:
Spirit God is the power behind the entire manifest universe. Spirit just thinks and the universe is formed. God thought about my friend. As a result, my friend was created in the image and power of God, because like always produces in kind. (A cat can’t produce a bird. A cat produces a cat. God produces God-beings.)
So, my friend is a mirror image of God but on a small scale. He is a creator, nonetheless. Nothing in him was created to fail. He may learn lessons from failing, but God does not fail. Therefore, my friend is not a failure. He is simply learning his lessons by means of his mistakes.
His first order of business, though, is to change the lens from which he is looking at his life. He cannot keep looking at life through the lens of his past failures or through a lens of poverty. Where on the earth do you see poverty in the landscape of the created universe? All power is thrusting forward to continue to create more and more universes. The ocean has the power. The moon has power. The sun yields power. He has to take that lens out of his camera and replace it with the Truth about this powerful creator within himself.
As he is a part of the most powerful, loving, creative and abundant force in the universe, he needs to begin seeing himself through this God-filter. He can never rebuild the old or change what has already happened. He can, however, see the future free and clear, as he sows seeds of power and truth into the earth, which is always grows what he plants. If he plants more negativity and worry, this will grow. If he plants truth, abundance will soon arise from the subjective earth.
Then, he must put up the filter of faith in the face of all negativity. He has never planted something and grew the plant himself. He has always had to put faith in a power greater than him to grow the plant… the dream.
Know this intention for yourself and anyone dealing with negativity today. I love you all.
